Clay Hornsby

Clay Hornsby graduated from the University of Alabama Law School in 1988 and began practicing law for Spain and Gillon in Birmingham for six months, Schmitt and Harper in Tallassee for three and a half years and for Morris, Haynes, Wheeles, Knowles and Nelson for the past twenty-three years. He has been President of the Alabama Association for Justice (formerly Alabama Trial Lawyers) and the Fifth Judicial Circuit Bar Association covering Tallapoosa, Chambers, Macon and Randolph counties.

He is a member of Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, the Alabama Law Foundation, Top 100 Lawyers in the State of Alabama, The National Trial Lawyers, Elite Lawyers of America and the College of Master Advocates and Barristers. He has spoken at numerous legal seminars throughout his career.

Clay is currently Deputy Director of the Alabama Law Institute.
