Michael Hill

Michael S. Hill is an attorney at the Alabama Law Institute. He joined ALI in 2013 with significant legal and policy experience. Michael spent four years in Washington, D.C. as a Legislative Assistant and Natural Resources Counsel for U.S. Senator Craig Thomas. Michael served as the Director of Government and Public Affairs for a small energy development company. And he spent three years as an attorney in the Water and Natural Resources Division of the Wyoming Attorney General's Office.

Michael received his undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics with honors from the University of Wyoming where he was a member of the rugby team. He earned his J.D. degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He is admitted to the bar in Alabama, Utah (inactive), and Wyoming.

Like most Alabamians, Michael enjoys watching college sports, especially football.
